I was initially relying on E! online report that she gave birth this morning and that the baby’s name is Zuma, but that they weren’t sure about the gender of the newborn. I assumed it was a girl given the name. It turns out that its a boy by the name of Zuma Nesta Rock Rossdale.

Chris' mom didn't want it to go public once he began to blow and had been trying to pay her hush money since. Bernie Mac, 50, was recently hospitalized with pneumonia in a Chicago hospital. Mac, who suffered from an inflammatory lung disease known as sarcoidosis, had been reported to have been on the mend per his publicist, Danica Smith. Mac, the star of Oceans Eleven and "The Bernie Mac Show and he played my favorite character Dollar Bill ( got any change ) on Players Club", is survived by a wife, daughter and granddaughter. So I found myself one insomnia driven morning, browsing the forums of the infamous BGCLIVE.COM. Yeah...I know. Riveting right? At any rate, I was drawn to the religion forum by a post concerning homosexuality not being a sin, per the viewpoint of the originator of the forum. His argument was that no one can give him a no nonsense, straightforward reason, biblical and logically speaking, as to why being gay is wrong/a sin. Now!.....my mother always told me that there are two things you don't discuss with people. That's politics, and religion. I have no idea why I frolicked into the forum anyway, knowing full well the impact it would have on my mood, but I have an affinity for relishing in the thoughts of others. In retrospect, I found it amazing how even within the gay community (as if there's not enough hatred amongst SGLM as is), there are folks that feel holier than thou about GOD amongst their peers. So many went back and forth about how it is or isn't a sin, the forum went on for about a good15 pages. Amazingly enough some agreed, and there were quite a few opposed on the matter. I'd never seen so much scripture tossed around within a discussion in my life. What really amazes me most is, through my own sense of logic and train of thought, none of us really KNOWS what will happen, what's right, or what's wrong until the end has come for us. We don't have the power, as mortals, to depict the future, nor do we possess the knowledge of creation and what flies with the creator and what doesn't. We're all guided by some form of organized religion (sans the atheists), which, quite frankly, drives most into this batty cult like trance that we can't see past what really matters most to me sometimes, and that's reality. Don't get me wrong, I was raised a baptist. Though I bellieve in certain aspects of Christianity, it is something that I did not come to obtain willingly, and it is all learned. Thus, developing a rift within self during such conversations. But I digress. I know I'll probably regret this within the next five seconds, but it's like, a sinful dessert! (pun intended...all of it!) What are your takes on religion and the affects it has on society, and our train of thought and sense of logic? Be easy on me....this is only a test......

Kanye and Sway surprised them at their homes and were there to listed to the stories of these soldiers. MTV captured these moments and will air them on July 28th. I will def. be watching.

All has not been good for our presidential candidates and the media. Seems as if some people may need to stay quiet instead of opening their mouths to make some rather dim-witted statements. Let's start with Jesse "I Am Somebody" Jackson, the 80's presidential wannabe, and his rather dim comments Barack Obama. Following an interview on CNN, the good reverend made a statement about Obama speaking down to the Black community. Too bad for Jesse because his mike was still hot meaning that comment was aired by CNN. Just to show that stupid comments aren't kept to Obama's camp, one of John McCain's advisers stated that "We have sort of become a nation of whiners". Wow....One can only wonder how they'll pull out the broom to clean this one up.

There are billions and billions of reasons to hate McDonald's. They took the McRib away, for one, and that burns. (Sometimes I almost wish I'd never loved it at all.) There's at least one good reason to like McDonald's: They're being boycotted by the American Family Association.

Well, folks, it looks like Will Smith is truly the Black Tom Cruise. His new movie, Hancock, opened with $66 million dollars this past weekend. This marks the fifth time that Will Smith has held it down on the Fourth for hungry moviegoers. Let's just all say it together: from this point on, Will Smith owns Independence Day. No need to even put out any other movie if the Fresh Prince is dropping one that weekend. Let's just hope he doesn't start jumping couches and stuff.

The movies Smith has released over the July 4 weekend have been box office smashes. "Independence Day" in 1996, "Men In Black" in 1997, and "Men In Black II" in 2002 all grossed more than $50 million in their opening weekend, according to the Web site BoxOfficeMojo.com.
